Wishing The Best & The Happiest

I created this card for Verve Sketch Challenge and chose the third room for color inspiration. The white embroidered fabric by the sewing machine and the hot pink chair really caught my eye and pink is really one of my favorite colors. The flowers were stamped, cut and adhered to the base with 3d pop dots. I used copic markers and glitter pen on the flowers.

Purse-onal Invitation

This is my entry for Embellish Magazine Color Challenge. I created a girly party invitation with a matching favor box . I downloaded handbag template from Mel Stampz and die-cut the handles of the box with scalloped circle nestabilities. The flowers were cut with Papertrey Ink die from the Beautiful Blooms II Die Collection. The card was cut evenly on left and right sides to make it look almost like a triangle shape. The red top of the card was embossed with textile folder by Cuttlebug. The sentiment was stamped with black ink and die cut with label shapeabilities. The card could fit in 5.5'' by 5.5'' envelope and I finished the favor box by filling it with Raffaello almond coconut treats.

A Time For Everything

I was inspired to make a card based on the bible verses in Ecclesiastes 3. I used DCWV's The At Home Stack that I bought a couple weeks ago. I really like that it came with clock patterns and beautiful shades of blue, cream, and dark chocolate with some glitters. The verse was printed on Papertrey Ink's vintage cream cardstock. The card's layout was based on Verve Friday Sketch Challenge and I chose the first living room. I cut the clocks out of the patterned cardstock and adhered with 3d-dot adhesives.

This Day Is Special

This card was created for Verve Friday Sketch Challenge and I chose the second living room picture posted below. I stamped the flowers on a white cardstock and cut them individually. I used Papertrey Ink's Blooming Button Bits and Birthday Basics for the sentiment. The leaves were punched with Martha Stewart punch called frond. I scored the top and the left side of the white base with Martha Stewart scoring board.

Birthdays Are The Best

I made this card for two challenges (CAS61 and CC265) at the Splitcoaststampers forum. The challenge was to create a clean and simple card with the only stamping is the sentiment. The other challenge was to make a card with the color combinations provided that is certainly celery, tempting turquoise, and soft suede. I cut three pieces of matching cardstock from the same pad and punched the bottom right corner with a corner punch. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Birthday Basics.

Red Blossoms

Hi, welcome to my first post. I created this card for the Verve Friday Sketch challenge at Splitcoaststampers forum. The challenge for the first week of April is to create cards with the following sketch and a choice between three living room pictures for color inspiration. I picked the red living room and decided to give it an Asian theme.I was so excited because I finally get to use my Asian embossing folder called "Mandarin Screen" for the red panel. I stamped the cherry blossoms on kraft paper then heat embossed. White Sakura gel pen was used on the center of the flowers for added details.

Paper: Papertrey Ink (pure poppy and true black), kraft, scrap pack

Ink: red and black pigment ink, white Sakura gel pen
